A crash on Wednesday afternoon caused significant traffic delays on I-85 northbound near I-385 in Greenville, South Carolina. According to troopers, the accident took place between Exit 51A for Woodruff Road and Exit 54 for Pelham Road.
The incident resulted in a backup of approximately 3 miles along the northbound lanes of I-85.
Fortunately, by 3 p.m., authorities had cleared the scene of the accident, allowing traffic to resume its normal flow. Commuters can now expect improved conditions along this stretch of highway.
