Crash Shuts Down Parts of Interstate 275 in Tampa

At least one person seriously hurt
Multiple parts of Interstate 275 in Tampa, Florida were temporarily closed following a crash on Sunday night. The collision occurred on Interstate 275, resulting in the closure of I-275 northbound at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and I-275 southbound at Hillsborough Avenue, according to the Tampa Police Department.
By 3:30 a.m. on Monday, all sections of I-275 had been reopened. During the closure, heavy traffic was observed on the interstate through traffic cameras, with several law enforcement patrol cars present in the area.
The police department and Florida Highway Patrol conducted an investigation into the incident which caused the shutdowns. At least one person sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
