The incident involved an overturned truck belonging to JT Russell and Sons, an Albermarle-based paving company. The truck was reported stolen around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. The company that owns the truck was informed by highway patrol that it had been involved in a crash.
Southbound lanes remain open and moving while authorities investigate the cause of the accident. Drivers who use this route during their morning commute should plan for alternate routes or extra time.
