The collision between the tractor-trailer and motorcycle led to severe injuries, prompting authorities to reroute all traffic away from the highway at the subsequent exit. As a result, specific closures include the southbound lanes of I-391 at exit 1B, as well as the northbound and southbound exits of Route 5 leading to I-91.
Commuters have been advised by MassDOT to anticipate delays in these affected areas. Further details regarding the crash have not yet been released.
