Jonathan Cash Killed in Greer Motorcycle Crash

The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has identified the victim in a deadly crash that occurred on Highway 101 in Greer. The victim was identified as 25-year-old Jonathan Cash, according to the coroner.
The accident involved two vehicles, a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle and a 2024 Chevrolet pickup. Patrick Fortenberry with the Greer Police Department stated that the Chevy pickup was headed south on S.C. 101, making a left turn into a gas station on I-85, and the motorcyclist was headed north on S.C. 101 toward Greer when they collided.
According to witnesses of the crash, it appeared that the motorcycle was traveling at an excessive speed.
The incident happened near Spinx gas station.
