Authorities Investigate Deadly Crash in Bryan County

A fatal car accident that occurred on May 22 is currently under investigation by authorities in Bryan County, Oklahoma. The incident took place around 6 p.m. near Leavenworth Trail and US-70, just east of Mead.

The crash involved a 2013 Ford F150 traveling eastbound on US-70 and a 2000 Dodge Caravan driven by Patsy Brown, aged 74 years old, heading northbound. The accident report indicates that Brown's vehicle was struck after pulling out in front of the truck from a stop sign.

Brown was immediately transported to Durant hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
