Driver Killed in Lake City Crash

The driver was the only person inside the truck and died.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Friday evening near Lake City. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, the incident took place just before 5:30 p.m. along Dennis Road, which is located off West Main Street.
Bolt stated that a pickup truck was traveling north on Dennis Road when it veered off the right side of the road and collided with several objects before overturning and hitting another tree. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash and unfortunately died as a result of their injuries.
As of now, authorities have not released any information regarding the identity of the victim. The coroner's office has yet to release an official statement about this tragic event.
The investigation into this deadly accident is ongoing, and anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact local law enforcement immediately.
