One Dead, Four Injured in Houston Crash

One driver dead, four people injured
A fatal car crash occurred on the west side of Houston, leaving one driver dead and four people injured, including a child. The accident happened at around 1:51 am on Sunday at Highway 6 at Briarhills Parkway. According to the Houston Police Department, a Jeep carrying a child, teenager, woman and male driver was heading northbound when it suddenly crossed the median and hit a silver Mercedes going southbound head-on.
The driver of the Jeep died in the collision while his passengers were taken to hospital for treatment. The condition of the Mercedes' driver is unknown. It's unclear why the Jeep crossed over into oncoming traffic but authorities are investigating this deadly incident.
