Victor Forbes Killed in Deadly Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 95 in Milford

Motorcycle rider pronounced dead
Part of Interstate 95 north was closed on Friday night due to a tragic motorcycle crash that claimed the life of the rider. The accident occurred just south of Exit 39 A at approximately 7:20 p.m.
According to police reports, the incident unfolded when a truck towing a trailer veered into the left lane and collided with a motorcycle, forcing it into the concrete jersey barrier. As a result of the impact, both the motorcycle and its rider were separated.
Tragically, emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Authorities have identified him as Victor Forbes, a 33-year-old resident from West Haven.
The driver of the truck has been identified as Bilbraut Caraballo from Middlefield and is reported to be 41 years old. Following suspicion of impairment, Caraballo underwent field sobriety testing which he failed. Consequently, he has been charged with failing to maintain his lane and operating under the influence.
Caraballo is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on October 12th for further legal proceedings related to this incident.
