One Person Confirmed Dead in Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in Tomball

All eastbound lanes of the Grand Parkway were closed on Friday evening due to a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a box truck, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred at Huff-Smith and Kohrville in north Harris County, Tomball.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tweeted that "one person has been confirmed dead." Traffic was at a near standstill with only one lane open for drivers to use.
The eastbound ramp on SH-249 is also closed as there is an ongoing investigation into how the accident happened. Officials did not provide any further details about the cause of the crash.
