Decatur Resident Dies in Head-On Crash Caused by Reckless Driver

On Sunday morning, a tragic head-on crash in Decatur, Georgia resulted in the death of a local resident. The incident occurred just before 7 a.m. on South Candler Road when a Dodge Charger was observed traveling recklessly by Decatur police.
According to authorities, the Charger attempted to pass another vehicle by crossing into the oncoming lanes. Tragically, it collided head-on with an Infiniti QX4. As a result of the collision, one passenger in the Infiniti sustained critical injuries.
The victim, identified as 63-year-old Frankie Gresham, sadly succame to injuries and passed away while being transported to the hospital.
The investigation into this devastating accident is currently underway and being handled by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Decatur Police Department. At this time, no charges have been announced against the driver of the Charger involved in causing this fatal crash.
