Dozen injured in bus and truck collision in New York City

12 people transported to hospitals in stable condition
On Wednesday night, a collision between a bus and a sanitation truck in New York City's Longwood neighborhood resulted in twelve people being taken to hospitals. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m., according to the New York Police Department spokesperson.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders discovered that both the MTA bus and the sanitation truck were involved in the crash. It remains unclear how many individuals were aboard the bus or inside the truck at the time of impact. However, paramedics transported all twelve victims to local hospitals. Fortunately, police reported that all of them were in stable condition.
As of Thursday, no fatalities had been reported by authorities. The cause of this collision is currently unknown and under investigation. No arrests have been made thus far.
