Vincent James Dies in Pickup Truck Accident in Axtell, Texas

Update (05/29/2023): According to the victim’s brother, Vincent James was missing since Tuesday night. According to his brother, if he was driving home he would have been going west.

Original Article: The McLennan County Sheriff's Office and Texas DPS are investigating a fatal accident that occurred in Axtell, Texas. The driver of a pickup truck died after his vehicle plunged off a bridge on Heritage Parkway at around 3 p.m. The victim has been identified as Vincent James, 41, of Lorena, Texas.
Deputies stated that James was traveling eastbound when his Ford F-150 fell off the Tehuacana Creek Bridge into the creek below. The truck remained partially submerged in water until about 5 p.m., with James' body still inside and restrained by a seatbelt.
A rescue team from the Waco Fire Department arrived at the scene to assist with retrieving James' body. Crews were able to pull out the pickup truck from the creek at approximately 5:20 p.m.
