Driver injured, utility pole snapped
One Injured in Litchfield Rollover Car Crash
A single-car rollover crash occurred on North Shore Road in Litchfield, Connecticut on Monday morning. The accident resulted in one person being injured and a utility pole being snapped.
The Bantam Fire Company reported that the incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. When fire units arrived at the scene, they found the driver outside of the car and a snapped utility pole. The driver was immediately transported to Waterbury Hospital with serious injuries.
According to reports, Eversource and other utility crews are working together to repair the damaged pole.
This is an ongoing investigation and more details will be provided as they become available.
