Driver Killed in Brown County Crash: Daniel L. Moellmann, Ellen L. Vallery

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified the driver of a pickup truck who tragically lost their life in a collision involving a semi-truck in Brown County. According to troopers, the incident occurred on Friday at approximately 9:45 a.m. at the intersection of Route 32 and Brooks Mallot Road.
Upon receiving reports of the crash, authorities promptly responded to the scene. Their investigation revealed that Daniel L. Moellmann, aged 73, was operating a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 traveling northbound on Brooks Malott Road. Simultaneously, Ellen L. Vallery, aged 63, was driving a 2009 International ProStar heading eastbound on State Route 32.
The collision between both vehicles took place within the eastbound lanes of SR 32. Tragically, Moellmann succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding troopers. Meanwhile, Vallery emerged from the accident without sustaining any injuries.
At this time, it remains uncertain whether drugs or alcohol played a role in causing this devastating crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is actively conducting an ongoing investigation into all aspects surrounding this incident.
