Driver pronounced dead on the scene
A driver has died after hitting a deer while driving in Lee County, South Carolina. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Sunday, May 14th at around 9:24 p.m.
The driver was operating a 2004 Ford F-150 and traveling south on South Carolina Highway 341 when they hit a deer. The truck then veered off the right side of the road and collided with a tree.
Tragically, troopers pronounced the driver dead at the scene of the accident. No further information about their identity or circumstances surrounding this incident have been released yet.
