Driver survives being trapped in concrete pump truck during rollover crash

Driver rescued and taken to hospital in fair condition
A driver has survived a major rollover crash that occurred on Tuesday morning in Harris County, Texas. The accident involved a concrete pump truck and another truck, which collided causing the first truck to roll over into the median. The crash happened in the 7800 block of SH-99 Grand Parkway westbound at Boudreaux Road and was reported at about 4 a.m. It took seven hours to clear the scene.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, firefighters rescued the driver who was trapped in the concrete pump truck. The driver, amazingly, did not have life-threatening injuries. However, he was taken to the hospital and is listed in fair condition. The other truck's driver was also taken to the hospital in fair condition.
A third 18-wheeler was involved in the crash but only sustained minor damage. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt, Gonzalez said.
