Drunk Tow Truck Driver Damages 14 Parked Vehicles in Allentown

Driver arrested and charged with multiple offenses
Officials in Allentown, PA have accused a tow truck driver of causing damage to 14 parked vehicles while allegedly driving under the influence. The incident occurred early Saturday morning along Tilghman Street.
According to authorities, multiple people contacted the Allentown Police Department around 3 a.m. on Saturday to report an auto accident in the 1600 block of Tilghman Street. Witnesses also reported that a tow truck towing another vehicle had fled the scene after colliding with approximately seven parked cars.
As police began their investigation, additional calls came in reporting that the same tow truck had struck several more parked vehicles within the 1200 block of Tilghman Street. Fortunately, officers were able to locate and stop a tow truck matching the description a short distance away, as stated by Allentown PD.
The driver attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by pursuing officers. Identified as Marlon T. Carrasquuilla, who resides on Tilghman Street himself, he now faces multiple charges including fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving under the influence/unsafe driving, obstructing administration of law or other government officials, hit and run involving unattended vehicles, driving under suspension, reckless driving and careless driving.
Following his arrest, Carrasquuilla was transported to Lehigh DUI Center for processing.
