Entrance ramp at Exit 34 closed, minor injuries reported
A dump truck-car crash occurred on Wednesday morning, causing the closure of a ramp and heavy traffic during the morning commute. The incident was captured by a DOT camera at the scene on Interstate 91 southbound.
The accident happened around 6:20 a.m., involving a car and a dump truck, according to officials. State police reported minor injuries resulting from the collision.
The dump truck was reported to have traveled down an embankment.
As of 7:15 a.m., only one lane of the highway remained closed, but traffic heading into Hartford had already backed up for more than three miles, as per the state Department of Transportation's report.
