KY 123 has been reopened at the KY 80 intersection after a crash involving a dump truck, according to reports from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The accident occurred on KY 123 near the 22 mile marker, north of Columbus and close to the Hickman-Carlisle County line.
The incident caused gravel to be scattered along the road at the site of the crash, which had to be cleared before reopening. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with this accident.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution when traveling through this area as traffic may still be congested due to residual delays from earlier closures.
