Hyundai Veloster driver uninjured after dump truck hits sign on State Road 429

A dump truck driver in Winter Garden, Florida caused a major accident on Tuesday morning when he failed to lower the bed of his vehicle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the dump truck still had its truck bed up when it struck a pole and a sign on State Road 429. The impact caused the sign to fall onto another vehicle, which was identified as a Hyundai Veloster.
The crash occurred around 4:15 am near mile marker 17. The dump truck driver, who is from St. Cloud and is 57 years old, was heading south on S.R. 429 at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident except for some property damage.
Troopers have not released any details about the size or type of sign that fell onto the Hyundai Veloster during this incident.
An investigation into this accident is currently ongoing by local authorities. No further information has been provided at this time regarding potential charges or fines for those involved in causing this collision.
