Dump Truck and SUV Crash in Westmoreland County

First responders were called to a crash involving a dump truck and an SUV in Westmoreland County Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. at the intersection of William Penn Highway (Route 22) and Route 819 in Salem Township.
The impact caused extensive damage to the front and passenger side of the SUV, scattering debris from the vehicle was scattered across the road, indicating the severity of the collision.
Fortunately, according to information provided by a 911 dispatcher, no individuals required transportation from the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident. However, it is unclear whether any injuries were sustained or if all parties involved escaped unharmed.
Westbound lanes along William Penn Highway were temporarily blocked off for safety reasons.
