Durham Woman Brenda Gregory Dies in Head-On Crash in Granville County

Brenda Gregory died on impact
A woman from Durham lost her life on Friday night after being involved in a head-on collision in Granville County. Brenda Gregory was driving along U.S. Highway 15 near Munns Road when another vehicle crossed the center line and collided with her car, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Tragically, Gregory died instantly upon impact. The other driver's name has not been released by authorities nor have they provided any description of their vehicle at this time.
The North Carolina State Troopers are currently investigating allegations that the other driver may have been racing at the time of the crash. Further details regarding this investigation will be made available as soon as possible.
