Eight injured in serious Chandler crash involving six people and two minors

All eight people were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries ranging from serious to life threatening.
Eight people were rushed to nearby hospitals after a serious crash occurred on Saturday morning in Chandler. The accident involved a small truck carrying six people and a sedan carrying two, which collided near the intersection of Hunt Highway and SR 87 (Arizona Avenue).
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies, all eight people involved in the crash sustained injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening. Some of the injured individuals are minors.
The northbound SR87 was closed for most of the morning since about 3:45 a.m. However, all lanes have reopened as of around 12:15 p.m.
