Ejection Crash Kills Propane Truck Driver

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is currently investigating a tragic accident that resulted in the death of a propane truck driver in Madera County. The incident occurred on Sunday night at the intersection of Road 222 and Road 220 near Oakhurst.
According to investigators, the driver of the propane truck was initially traveling in one lane before veering into another lane and colliding with the road shoulder. As a result, the truck toppled over onto its side, partially crushing the driver who was partially ejected from the vehicle during impact.
Authorities have not yet released any information regarding how fast the truck was traveling at the time of the crash. Additionally, they have not disclosed any details about possible factors that may have contributed to this unfortunate incident.
As of now, law enforcement officers are still working to identify and notify next-of-kin for proper identification purposes. Therefore, no further information has been provided regarding their identity.
The CHP anticipates that both Road 222 and Road 220 will be cleared within a few hours once towing services arrive on scene to remove the overturned propane truck.
