Elderly Woman Nadeen Montez Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Tucson

An elderly woman lost her life in a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Saturday, June 24th near Mission and Irvington in Tucson. According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the crash took place around 5 p.m. at Mission and West Irvington Place.
The victim was identified as Nadeen Montez, an 88-year-old who was traveling west on Irvington Place when she ran a stop sign and collided with a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. The driver of the truck fled from the scene after the collision.
Mission Road had to be closed for several hours while authorities investigated the incident. The PCSD is currently searching for any information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect involved in this tragic event.
