Sandra Puckett Killed in Saddlebrooke Accident

Sandra Puckett was pronounced dead at Cox Branson. Matthew Puckett was transported to CoxSouth with serious injuries. Richard Rogers was arrested and transported to the Taney County Jail.
A woman from Taney County lost her life in a car accident on Monday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sandra Puckett, 55, was driving west on Missouri 176 when she stopped at a stop sign near Saddlebrooke. At that moment, a Ford F-150 driven by Richard Rogers crossed over and hit her Nissan Rouge.
Both vehicles went down an embankment before coming to rest. The accident occurred shortly before 3:15 p.m., and Puckett was taken by ambulance to Cox Branson where she died soon after arrival.
Matthew Puckett, who is 32 years old and from Walnut Shade like Sandra Puckett, was also in the vehicle during the crash. He sustained serious injuries and had to be transported by ambulance to CoxSouth for treatment.
Richard Rogers was arrested at the scene of this fatal collision due not only to possession charges related specifically to methamphetamine but also DWI resulting directly in someone else's death as well - he is now being held at Taney County Jail pending further investigation into these allegations against him.
