Fatal Auto Pedestrian Incident in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City Police are currently conducting an investigation into a tragic incident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that occurred on Tuesday morning. The incident took place at approximately 7 a.m. near the intersection of I-240 and Pennsylvania Avenue.
Authorities have reported that the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident did not sustain any injuries and has been fully cooperative with law enforcement officials. It appears that the female victim was in the street when she was struck by the vehicle, although further details regarding the cause of the collision are still being determined.
As a result of this incident, police have closed off the eastbound offramp to Penn Ave until further notice. They are urging drivers to avoid this area if possible while they continue their investigation.
