Fatal Car Accident in Charmco Claims Life of Dylan Davis

One fatality, one non-life threatening injury
A tragic car accident on US Route 60 in Charmco, Greenbrier County has claimed the life of one man. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, around 5 P.M., according to a press release from Greenbrier County Sheriff Bruce Sloan.
The collision involved a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Dylan Davis and a 2022 Toyota Tacoma driven by Raven McClung. Both vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided head-on. Unfortunately, Davis succumbed to his injuries sustained during the crash.
McClung was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Meanwhile, members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene/Accident Reconstruction Team have been working diligently to recreate the scene and gather evidence.
Leading the investigation is Deputy Lucas Kessler from the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Office. Authorities are currently trying to determine what factors may have contributed to this devastating accident.
