Fatal car accident involving two box trucks and a passenger vehicle on I-71 in Medina County, Ohio

Officials have confirmed that a car accident early Thursday morning on I-71 has resulted in the death of one person. The incident occurred between I-271 and SR 303, causing northbound traffic to be reduced to just one lane.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at around 4 a.m., but as of yet there is no estimated time for when the road will fully reopen. According to Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch, two box trucks and a passenger vehicle were involved in the crash.
Unfortunately, officials have also confirmed that there was one fatality due to the collision. At this time, authorities are unable to share any details regarding what caused the accident or when it happened.
