Jesus M. Rodriguez Killed in Limestone County Car Accident

One fatality, one hospitalized
Early Sunday morning, a car accident on Holt Road in Limestone County resulted in one fatality and another person being hospitalized. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Jesus M. Rodriguez, 25, was driving his 2016 Chevrolet Camaro when it left the roadway and hit multiple trees at around 2:15 a.m.
Rodriguez sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Ramiro-Rodriguez Torres, 27, was also in the vehicle during the incident and suffered injuries that required him to be airlifted to Huntsville for treatment.
The ALEA is continuing its investigation into what caused Rodriguez's car to leave the road. No further details have been released about this tragic event.
