Independence police responded to a one car accident on Valley View Bridge early Tuesday morning. The accident occurred on I480 W, and early reports suggest that it was a fatal accident. The bridge is currently down to one lane.
A Twitter post shows a photo of the accident scene - a silver pickup truck on the bridge. The Independence Police Department will be issuing a statement on the accident on Tuesday, according to police. However, they could not confirm any information regarding the crash.
