Driver of the Honda Killed in Fatal Car Collision Outside of Clovis

Driver of the Honda did not survive, two children in the car with them transported to a local hospital, condition of the Mercedes driver is unknown.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal car collision that occurred outside of Clovis on Monday afternoon. According to reports, the accident involved two cars - a grey Honda and a red Mercedes Benz - at the intersection of Minnewawa and International Avenues.
Eyewitnesses say that the driver of the Mercedes failed to stop at a stop sign before colliding with the Honda. The impact was so severe that it caused the Honda to spin out of control, killing its driver instantly. Two children who were in the car with them have been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
As per CHP officials, "the condition of the Mercedes driver is unknown." However, they do not believe drugs or alcohol played any role in causing this tragic incident. The coroner has been called to investigate further while officers and first responders are still present at the scene.
No identities have been released yet as investigations continue into what led up to this deadly crash.
