Fatal Car Crash in Bridgewater Leaves One Dead and Four Injured

One fatality, four serious injuries
A tragic car crash in Bridgewater, New Jersey has claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman from Perth Amboy. The accident occurred on Tuesday and left four others injured.
According to authorities, the investigation revealed that Felipe Exposito-Sanchez, a 24-year-old resident of Linden, was driving an Infiniti south on I-287 at around 7:30 p.m. It is believed that Exposito-Sanchez veered off the left side of the road in an attempt to improperly pass a Nissan car. Upon re-entering the roadway, his vehicle collided with the front of the Nissan.
The impact caused Exposito-Sanchez's Infiniti to cross multiple lanes before running off the right side of the road and colliding with several trees. As a result of this devastating crash, Lissanne Reyes Mejia, who was a passenger in Exposito-Sanchez's vehicle, tragically lost her life. Three other passengers in the Infiniti sustained serious injuries.
Fortunately, no one inside the Nissan suffered any injuries during this incident.
Due to this horrific accident, local lanes on I-287 southbound had to be closed for approximately five hours while authorities conducted their investigations into what led up to this tragedy.
At present time, law enforcement officials are still actively investigating all aspects surrounding this fatal collision.
