Niles Man Tabor Lock Dies in Cass County Car Crash

The passenger died at the scene and the driver was taken to the hospital for serious injuries.
A car crash in Cass County, Michigan has left one person dead and another seriously injured.
The incident occurred on Thursday night around 11 p.m. when a 20-year-old man from Edwardsburg lost control of his vehicle while driving south on Dailey Road near Yankee Street in Jefferson Township.
The driver crashed into a tree, killing his passenger who was identified as Tabor Lock, aged 19 and hailing from Niles. The driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Michigan State Police are investigating the accident but believe that alcohol and speed were contributing factors despite both men wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Further details about this tragic event are yet to be released pending an ongoing investigation.
