Fatal Car Crash in Hampton, Virginia: Keith Wayne Hoban Killed

Driver pronounced dead on the scene, passenger with non-life threatening injuries
The Hampton Police Division is currently conducting an investigation into a tragic car accident that occurred on Sunday morning. The incident took place just before noon at the intersection of Hampton Roads Center Parkway and Micale Avenue in Hampton, Virginia.
Authorities arrived at the scene to find a blue Ford pick-up truck overturned off the roadway. Sadly, the driver, identified as 60-year-old Keith Wayne Hoban from Newport News, was pronounced dead by officers upon their arrival. Meanwhile, another adult male passenger was safely removed from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary findings suggest that the vehicle was traveling westbound on Hampton Roads Center Parkway towards Newport News when the driver lost control. As a result, the car veered off-road, flipped over, and collided with a tree. In order to gather more information about this devastating incident, members of the Hampton Police Accident Reconstruction Team were dispatched to conduct further investigations at the crash site.
