Fatal Car Crash in Memphis Leaves One Dead

On June 3 at approximately 9 p.m., the Shelby County Sheriff's Office responded to a three-vehicle accident on Pleasant Ridge Road, in northern Shelby County. According to reports, one person was killed and another rushed to Regional One hospital in critical condition.
When deputies arrived, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, one person was taken to Regional One in critical condition.
The identities of those involved have not yet been released by authorities. It is also unknown what led up to the crash.
Residents are urged to avoid the area while the incident is investigated.
