Two dead, several injured
A 16-year-old girl has died a week after being injured in a car crash that killed one woman and injured others in Natomas, Sacramento. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office identified the teenager as Ayesha Adil from Sacramento, while the deceased woman was named as Marryam Naeem, aged 27.
The accident occurred on June 7 at around 2:20 p.m. local time when a single car carrying four adults and one small child crashed into a tree near Barandas Drive and Sweet Maple Way. Firefighters who arrived at the scene described it as "horrific."
No further details about the incident have been released by authorities yet.
