Fatal Car Crash in Tuscola, Illinois: Kenneth Clodfelder Killed

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department and the Champaign County coroner have launched an investigation into a tragic car accident that claimed the life of a local resident. According to sheriff's deputies, the incident occurred on Friday night at the intersection of County Road 1350 North and County Road 1450 East, situated between Villa Grove and Tuscola.
The victim has been identified as Kenneth Clodfelder, a 72-year-old man from Villa Grove. Authorities revealed that Clodfelder was driving his vehicle when it veered off the road and collided with a power pole before coming to a halt.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene upon receiving reports of the crash. However, despite their efforts, Clodfelder succumbed to his injuries at the site of the accident.
In light of this tragedy, both law enforcement agencies are working diligently to determine what factors may have contributed to this fatal collision. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation while collaborating closely with officials from Champaign County coroner's office.
