Fatal Crash Closes Road in Belton, Texas

The Belton Police Department is currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred on E. 6th Avenue at FM-93, between Taylor's Valley and Hubbard. As a result of the accident, the road will be closed in both directions until 5 p.m., according to an announcement made by the department on Friday afternoon.
It was a two-vehicle collision and appeared as though one driver attempted to make a u-turn but was struck from the side (t-boned).
As this is still an ongoing investigation, further information regarding this tragic event has yet to be released.
