Katelynn Breann Tullis Killed in Fatal Crash in Columbus, Indiana

A fatal crash occurred early Wednesday morning at the intersection of County Roads 100 South and 525 East in Columbus, Indiana. According to the Bartholomew County Coroner’s Office, Katelynn Breann Tullis, a 20-year-old passenger in a northbound 2016 Ford Fusion was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic neck and chest injuries.

The Ford Fusion was struck by a westbound 2020 Hyundai Palisade resulting in the fatal accident. The driver of the Ford Fusion was flown to an Indianapolis hospital while the driver of the Hyundai was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. The road remained closed for several hours as police worked on-site.

This is an active investigation.
