The authorities were alerted to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Mountain Industrial Boulevard and Tuckerstone Parkway around 6 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a car that had veered off the road.
According to an official statement from the police, the car inexplicably left the roadway and plummeted down an embankment. Tragically, the 48-year-old female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
