Fatal crash, two deaths, one injured
Caddo Sheriff deputies are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Highway 1 in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident took place on July 9 at approximately 8:27 a.m. when the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office (CPSO) received a report of a major traffic accident on the 5700 block of North Market Street.
Preliminary findings indicate that a black SUV traveling northbound veered across the center lane and collided with a black Ford Fusion that was waiting for the traffic light from the southbound lane. Tragically, two occupants of the SUV succumbed to their injuries as a result of the collision. The driver of the Ford Fusion sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
Emergency services responded swiftly to this devastating incident, with up to multiple units present at the scene to provide assistance and support during this challenging time.
