A tragic accident occurred on Highway 13 at mile post 17, south of Highway 30 in New Richland, Waseca County.
The crash involved a semi-truck and a Dodge Ram.
The semi was travelling northbound on Highway 13 while the Dodge Ram was heading southbound when they collided on the southbound shoulder. The impact of the collision resulted in one fatality.
Unfortunately, it has been reported that the occupant who died was not wearing their seatbelt or any other form of restraint at the time of the accident. No further details have been released regarding either driver's condition or what may have caused this fatal crash.
