Fatal Crash Involving Unidentified Motorcyclist and Man in Volkswagen

One person dead, another seriously injured
According to the Clark County Sheriff's Office, a fatal accident occurred in Brush Prairie on Thursday night. The crash involved a motorcycle and car, resulting in one death and serious injury of another person. Emergency crews responded to the scene just before 9:30 p.m., where they found that an off-road-style motorcycle was traveling south on NE 172nd Avenue when it collided with a Volkswagen going north. The impact caused the Volkswagen to hit a power pole.
The driver of the Volkswagen sedan sustained severe injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist did not survive and was discovered dead in nearby brush; their identity has yet to be revealed.
Authorities suspect that speed and alcohol may have played contributing roles in this tragic incident. However, no further details have been released as investigations are still ongoing.
