Early Saturday morning, a fatal crash involving a pickup truck occurred on I-65 in Indianapolis. The Indiana State Police reported that they were dispatched to the southbound lanes of I-65 between 21st St. and 12th St. at mile marker 113 around 4:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers initially had no information about how many people were in the truck or the seriousness of injuries sustained during the accident. However, shortly after their arrival, an unidentified person was pronounced dead.
The crash also resulted in a blocked exit ramp for several hours following the incident.
