One person dead, one injured
One person has tragically lost their life in a fatal crash on Kansas Highway 7 in Lenexa. The incident occurred at approximately 4:48 p.m., just south of Prairie Star Parkway, and resulted in the death of Holly Thomas, a 49-year-old resident of Olathe.
According to the report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, the collision involved two vehicles traveling in opposite directions. A northbound vehicle veered across the center median and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle. As a result of this devastating impact, Holly Thomas suffered fatal injuries.
In addition to the fatality, an 18-year-old woman was also injured during the crash. Fortunately, she is currently reported to be in stable condition.
