Judah Hendricks and Hallie Hoffman Involved in Fatal Crash in McDonald County

On May 1, 2023, a fatal crash occurred between a passenger car and a motorcycle at Mo-43 and County Hwy O in McDonald County, Missouri. The crash was reported around 2:45 p.m. and emergency services, including Tiff City Fire, McDonald County Sheriff’s Deputies, Freeman Ambulance, and Southwest City Fire, responded to the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was also notified.
On the scene, Master Sgt C.S. Mason of the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that the crash was fatal. The motorcyclist, identified as Judah Hendricks, 29, of Noel, Missouri, died at the scene. Hendricks was operating a Yamaha motorcycle, traveling south on MO-43, passing County Hwy O. He was wearing a helmet.
According to the preliminary report from Troop D, Hallie Hoffman, 27, of Grove, Oklahoma, was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. She was traveling north on MO-43 and failed to yield to the motorcycle as she was turning west onto County Hwy O. The crash occurred as the Hyundai failed to yield to the Yamaha motorcycle. Hendricks was pronounced dead at the scene by McDonald County Coroner William Goodwin III.
