BARNESVILLE, Minn. – A fatal crash occurred yesterday morning on MN Highway 9 near milepost 146, according to the Minnesota Highway Patrol. The incident took place at approximately 5:30 a.m.
The car involved in the accident was traveling southbound on MN Hwy 9 when it veered off the roadway and crashed. Authorities have not yet released any information about the identities of those involved in the crash. However, details regarding the driver, a 28-year-old male from Fergus Falls, and his passenger, also a 28-year-old man from Barnesville, will be made available tomorrow morning.
Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene following notification of the accident. The Clay County Sheriff's Office, along with Barnesville Police and Barnesville Fire Department personnel were among those who responded to provide assistance.
