Fatal Crash Shuts Down Part of I-83 in Dauphin County

One person dead
A section of Interstate 83 was temporarily closed in Dauphin County on Thursday night due to a fatal crash, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
Details about the incident are still limited at this time. However, PennDOT confirmed that the entire length of South Bridge northbound was initially shut down but has since been reopened.
The coroner's office was called to the scene, and sadly, one person has been reported dead as a result of the crash. The exact number of vehicles involved remains unknown.
The Pennsylvania State Police have taken charge of investigating the accident.
